Key Statements:

1) God never designed us to “perform” for our itentity – He designed us to receive it from Him.

2) What you believe shapes who you become.

3) You don’t become what’s true – you become what you “believe” to be true. And that’s either rooted in God’s Word or in life’s wounds.

The Two You’s:

THE OLD YOU: (Ephesians 4:22) – shaped by your past, your emotions, sin nature and the influences of the world.

THE NEW YOU: (Ephesians 4: 24) – created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Key Truths from Gideon’s Story:

1) God doesn’t speak to you based on where you are – He speaks based on where He’s taking you.

2) Gideon couldn’t lead until he aligned with how God saw him.

3) It wasn’t a change in circumstances that launched him – it was a change in believe.

4) Change your mind, change your life!
