LIFE   STREAMS

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Life Change focuses on meeting the natural and spiritual needs of our members and those in our surrounding communities. Our community outreach efforts consist of four “Life Streams” – Hunger & Homelessness, Human Trafficking, Youth Education, and First Responders. We have partnered with organizations such as Houston Food Bank, Moving Waters, Houston Police Department, Houston Fire Department, Redeemed Ministries, and Santa Maria House.

Here are a few examples of some of our recent outreach efforts:
  • Hunger & Homelessness – serving those with inconsistent food or shelter security
  • Annual food drives that feed over 300 families for at least 1 one week
  • Free daily lunch meals for kids in Summer Reading Lab (Mon-Fri for 8 weeks)
  •  Human Trafficking – serving those who have been victims of human trafficking
  •  Monthly financial support, plus in-person lunch and ministering at Redeemed Ministries
  • Monthly volunteer services and one-time donation of laptop computers at Santa Maria House
  • Youth Education – supporting the educational needs of youth
  •  Summer Reading Lab for grades 1-4 Monday – Friday for 8 weeks (June – Aug)
  • Back to school backpack drive for approximately 400 students
  • Annual graduation events for high school graduates that are church members
  • First Responders – supporting those who sacrifice in service to others
