What is a witness?

Someone who has personally experienced, observed or knows something firsthand and is willing to share their testimony or give evidence about it.

How salt loses its saltiness (Matthew 5:13):

1) Dissolution: When salt is dissolved in water or other liquids, it can seem to lose its saltiness because the flavor is dispersed. However, the salt itself doesn't disappear; it's just that the intensity of the flavor is reduced due to the dilution.

2) Chemical Reaction: In some cases, salt can undergo chemical reactions with other substances, which can alter its composition. For example, if salt is exposed to acidic substances, it can react and change its properties.

3) Contamination: If salt is mixed with other substances or impurities, it can lose its pure salt flavor. This can happen if salt is stored in unclean containers or becomes contaminated with other ingredients.
